About us

A Pakistani software company building for Pakistani businesses

We build software around the realities of Pakistani businesses, not around assumptions made for other markets. Credit that runs for months, cash that moves all day, stock that arrives without barcodes, and connectivity you cannot rely on.

Why we exist

Most POS software sold here was built somewhere else

Walk into a mart in Lahore or a pharmacy in Karachi and you will usually find one of three things: a paper register, a spreadsheet, or an imported POS system with half its features switched off because they do not apply here.

None of those handle the parts that actually define business in Pakistan. Udhaar that runs for two months and is settled in three instalments. A supplier bill with bonus quantities and a claim for damaged stock. Loose rice sold by the kilo alongside barcoded packs. An evening rush that arrives exactly when the internet does not.

OfflinePOS started from those specifics rather than from a generic retail model. We picked the industries where the gap was widest. Grocery and marts, pharmacy, restaurants, wholesale, garments and electronics all got dedicated solutions on one shared, offline-first platform. That list is now 38 solutions across 11 industries, and it grows when businesses tell us what is missing.

How we think

Four things that decide what we build

These are not values on a wall. They are the arguments we actually have when deciding what goes into a release.

We build for the counter, not the boardroom

Decisions get made by watching a cashier at 8 PM on a Sunday, not by counting features on a competitor’s website. If something adds a second to a bill, it needs a very good reason to exist.

Offline is a design decision, not a fallback

Software that only works with a connection is not honest about the conditions here. Our products run on the machine at your counter, and treat connectivity as a convenience layer on top.

Specialised beats generic

One product that half-fits forty industries helps nobody. We would rather ship a pharmacy solution that genuinely understands batch and expiry than a universal one that treats them as custom fields.

We tell you when we are not a fit

A business running the wrong software is worse off than a business running none. If your workflow needs something we do not do well, we will say so rather than sell you a licence.

Built here, for here

Made for the Way Pakistan Does Business

Credit that runs for months, cash that moves all day, suppliers who deliver against claims, and connectivity you cannot depend on. These are not edge cases here. They are the business, and OfflinePOS is built around them.

Udhaar and khata, treated as a core feature
Credit is not an edge case in Pakistan. It is how a large share of business is done. Customer ledgers, running balances, partial recoveries, ageing and printable statements are built in, not added as an afterthought.
Cash-heavy operations
Most transactions are cash. Opening float, cash in and out, expenses paid from the drawer, and a closing count with recorded variance are all part of the daily workflow.
Pakistani Rupee throughout
PKR formatting, rounding conventions and denomination handling are used consistently across billing, reports and printed documents.
Supplier ledgers and local purchasing
Purchases arrive with bonus quantities, trade discounts, claims and part-payments. Supplier accounts are built to handle all of it and to produce a balance you can defend.
Barcode retail and manual counters together
Plenty of Pakistani stock arrives without a barcode. You can generate and print your own labels, or bill entirely by searching item names.
Thermal receipt printing as standard
Support for the 58 mm and 80 mm thermal printers already sitting on Pakistani counters, plus A4 invoices where a formal document is needed.
Multiple payment methods
Cash, card, bank transfer and mobile wallets, including split payment across methods on a single bill.
Terminology your staff already use
The interface uses the words used on Pakistani counters, so training a new cashier takes an afternoon rather than a fortnight.

Working with us

What happens after you choose us

The software is the easy part. Getting it running properly in a live shop, with staff who trust it, is the actual work.
  1. 1

We learn how your business actually runs

Before anything is installed, we go through your counter flow, your stock, your credit customers and your suppliers. The demo you see is your industry, not a generic slideshow.

  2. 2

Your data is loaded, not typed by you

We import your product list, barcodes, prices, opening stock and outstanding balances from spreadsheets or your existing system, so you are not spending three weeks on data entry.

  3. 3

Your staff are trained on your own data

Training happens on your products and your prices, at your counter, so the first live bill is not the first time anyone has used the system.

  4. 4

We stay close through the first month

The first weeks are when questions come up. Support during that period is deliberately hands-on, because a system nobody uses properly is worse than no system at all.

Talk to us

Tell us about your business

We would rather understand how you work before showing you anything. OfflinePOS is small enough that the person you speak to is the person who will set your system up.
